To support Centennial’s mining operations, the Company proposes to upgrade and increase capacity at its Newstan Coal Infrastructure facility. This facility is used by Centennial to process and wash coal from Mandalong and Newstan mines and to facilitate the distribution of coal to local power stations via private haul roads and rail, and also transports coal for export to the ports of Newcastle or Port Kembla by rail. This integrated network ensures coal can be delivered to various customers without using public roads. The goal of this project is to implement new and proven technologies in building a safe, community and environmentally responsible, sustainable and productive operation.
