PINK ROLLERS GENERATE CANCER AWARENESS

Tackling women’s cancer was at the centre of the initiative by REMA TIP TOP who supplies rollers used on Centennial Coal’s conveyors.  The Pink Ribbon inspired conveyor-belt roller campaign saw REMA TIP TOP in conjunction with its roller manufacturer produce several thousand bright pink rollers which were distributed to mine sites in NSW.

Currently one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer by the age of 85.  Therefore this initiative is close to many who have family members who have been impacted.  Springvale Mine embraced the opportunity to support and promote such a great cause with the pink rollers creating an educational talking point.

With the funds raised being directed to grass roots initiatives that benefit cancer suffers locally and  around Australia, the 2018 pink conveyor-belt roller campaign aims to expand the number of companies who participated to increase fundraising in 2018.
